The manufacturing capabilities at Vanguard far exceed the capabilities of the typical corrugated production facility. In the late 1990’s, Vanguard began an ambitious capital investment program to add not only production capacity, but the highest levels of technology available in the industry. Some examples of this expansion include:

• Full 3D Auto CAD design, incorporating animation when required. For output, Vanguard has 4 plotter tables in three different geographic markets to help speed time to market.
  
  
• Equipment redundancy in virtually every primary production process to avoid delays due to scheduled or unscheduled maintenance down time.
  
  
• All three primary corrugated printing processes in-house: Singleface lamination, traditional lamination and high graphics direct flexo print including UV coating.
  
  
• All ink colors are formulated in-house to exact specifications for each order. We then manufacture the inks on-site specifically for each run. During a production run, we use a computer based spectraphotometer to confirm proper color.
  
  
• Vanguard believes that their job is not done until the product is safely in the consumer’s hands. To prevent damage in transit, we do simulated ship testing in-house when requested.
  
  
• Vanguard uses its own trucks and trailers to insure control of lead times through the delivery process.
  
  

From basic brown box packaging through the most complicated displays, Vanguard does all processes in-house for total production control of quality, lead time and delivery.
