Program Details

Luna Magic tasked our team with designing, producing, and fulfilling an easy to shop, dynamic display that was reflective of their brand and values. Overall, the display had to communicate a prestige beauty offer for Walmart – premier makeup quality for a great value. The customer also wanted to convey sense of luxury in display packaging.

The display had to be informative and tell the brand story, all while having a youthful appeal. The display also had to be engaging, easy to shop, informative, and the overall coloring must accentuate the product packaging. Finally, the display must adhere to retailer design requirements. The target audience for the product were the Latina customers in Walmart.

Execution Details

The overall orange background of the display allowed the emoji graphics to pop. These graphics throughout the display were meant to attract a more youthful shopper. The emoticons and other graphics were provided by the customer.

The display consisted of five sections. The header featured the founders and an abbreviated version of their story. The body consisted of three product pegs that held faux eyelashes and three floating product trays that contained eye shadow palettes, blush and highlighters, along with eye and brow pencils. The footer featured photos of the product assortment with the brand and tagline, along with a call to action. The displays were digitally printed on Kemi board utilizing the HP C500 digital press. All materials used were from recycled materials and are 100% recyclable.

Program Summary / Results

Fulfillment: 100% of the displays were shipped and delivered on time to the retail locations.

Compliance: Due to the simplicity of the set-up, compliance was near 100% across the retailers.

Performance: The durable, construction of the endcap held up during shipping, set-up, and sell through.

Shopability: Shoppers easily engaged with the display.

Sales: The displays were well received by the retailers and were easy to shop by the customers. The retailers experienced complete sell through of the product.
